As Gasser Development. LLC continues to service the pre-engineered steel building industry we continue its diversification by providing some of our owners with the construction of Air Plane Hangars. This scope of work is always "turn-key" as we install the hydraulics for hangar doors as well as the construction for a complete hangar. This hangar door as pictured is "state of the art" technology as the size of the door is 16ft high x 65ft in width.
We are currently mobilized to Fort Mohave (Bullhead City) Arizona, completing another hangar for another one of our valued customers. August 2009...more pictures to come!
AND HERE THEY ARE!!! 08/12/09
THIS HANGAR'S FOR YOU, MARCI AND PHIL!!!
Two of our favorite clients and they are both pilots too...
we think they met in the air but we're happy to work for them on the ground.
Gasser's Project Manager Terry Lowry, as well as our Superintendent Julio Garcia, work with our crew pre-dawn until mid-day avoiding the intense heat ( 118 degrees) as they reconstruct hangar #48 at the Eagle Air Field.
Now that our masonary work is completed, it is time for our welders to secure our bar joists provided to us by Quincy.
With a keen eye for detail, Gasser Development, LLC remains committed to perfection on every weld!!!
STAY TUNED...LOTS MORE TO COME AS WE TARGET OUR DATE FOR COMPLETION BY THE WEEK OF SEPETEMBER 7TH, 2009...
FLY SAFE EVERYONE!!
An Ex-Vice President for Boeing Airlines Mr. Sid (Dennis the man) Gillman remains safe in his cock-pit as well as a true friend and loyal customer with Gasser Development, LLC.
The 6" insulated roof panels supplied by "R-Cold" provide this hangar with an R value of over 40!!!
The HY-POWER hydraulic power pack unit provided by "HYDRO-SWING" will make this 65' door!!! operate easily even after it is sheathed and insulated on the inside. Our Senior Project Manager and COO Marc Fluss makes his examination of the "trueness" of this 1,000 sq. ft. plus hangar door prior to the installation of 8ft pistons.
Week of August 24, 2009: Gasser Development, LLC continues to burn the midnight oil, avoiding the 118 degree heat of the day. As we finish the exterior hangar door, the day brings an almost finished product with the enlarged piston assembly now becoming operational by day break!!!
SUNBELT RENTALS contiunes to service Gasser Development, LLC exclusively across the State of Arizona where ever and when ever we need them. Thank you Doug Atkins, District Manager!
Julio Garcia, Gasser Development LLC's lead superintendent works with his crew during the cooler daybreak hours as he installs and inspects the 6" insulated panels supplied by "R-Cold".
As our owner arrives by plane and we finish the back skirting of hangar #48 we continue to work at our best so that there is a new place to park. The back of hangar #48 is completely reframed and sided by daybreak.
At the end of a long night we insulate the inside of the hangar door before the heat comes. Ahh a place to park!!!
